In each track there are special sessions presented by seasoned IABC World Conference speakers. Look for the All Star designation under the session title and be prepared for a superior learning experience.
Evaluations from your past World Conference peers grant the All Star honor to the session presenter that achieved a greater than 6.3 out of 7 score.

IABC GUIDELINES FOR SPEAKER SELECTION
IABC makes speaker selections based on audience and content needs to reflect our membership demographics. We seek diversity in our conference speakers and do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, creed, religion, physical ability, gender, sexual orientation, age, national origin, language, type of industry, business or function.
Session Handouts
Registered attenders will receive an e-mail approximately two weeks prior to the conference that includes a link to the handouts submitted by speakers. Please print any handouts that you would like to have with you at sessions. IABC does not print or distribute handouts for any sessions.
IABC 2013 World Conference call for papers
The deadline for speaker proposals for IABC’s 2013 conference is 15 July 2012. Please take the time to review the following requirements so that you will have the best chance of being selected.
IABC’s 2013 events include the following:
- 2013 World Conference, 23-26 June, New York, New York, USA
IABC invites presentation proposals from qualified experts who meet the association’s criteria for educating communication practitioners to excel professionally and improve organizational performance.
Assess your fit for an IABC speaking position by answering these questions:
- Do you have experience presenting to audiences with 75 or more participants?
- Is your content fresh and highly relevant to communication practitioners?
- Do you have global communication experience (working and speaking in countries other than your own)?
- Are your sessions interactive? Would your audiences describe you as a dynamic presenter?
- Can you provide audience evaluations (with 75 or more participants) demonstrating excellent ratings of 80th percentile or above?
If your answers to all five questions are “yes,” you meet IABC’s qualifications for a speaking position and are encouraged to apply. Submit a proposal.
