Are you a talented speaker with innovative ideas to share? Apply to speak at the IABC World Conference

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is now accepting speaker submissions for its 2018 World Conference in Montréal, happening 3–6 June 2018. This includes break-out speaking proposals, keynote applications/recommendations and IABC Fellows Circles of Wisdom group mentoring submissions. Are you a talented presenter with innovative ideas and knowledge to share? We want to hear from you!

Visibility and Recognition

Our audience of business communication professionals attend the World Conference to expand their skills and advance their careers. Participating in the conference allows speakers to share their knowledge, while gaining visibility and recognition as a subject matter expert among influential communication professionals from a wide variety of industries.

The Communication Crossroads

Our theme this year is The Communication Crossroads. The communication profession is uniquely positioned at the intersection of business, culture, functions and audience. That’s a powerful place to be. Across our programming, we want attendees to:

  • Learn how communication drives business performance and innovation.
  • Explore the rise of transformative communication and collaboration.
  • Discover the role they play at the center of culture and ethics.
  • Strengthen knowledge and confidence as a strategic adviser.

Share your innovative ideas and knowledge

If you have ideas to contribute in these areas, we hope you’ll submit a proposal. This could be through sharing your knowledge, helping to build the communication professional’s skill set and/or showing innovative approaches to solving business challenges. It is the first time World Conference has been hosted in Montréal since 1984, and it’s going to be a very special event.

Apply here to speak at the World Conference or provide a referral for a keynote

Speaking proposals are due by 2 October and will be evaluated by IABC’s Program Advisory Committee, a panel of nearly 30 communication professionals from around the world. We will confirm speakers by early December.

We look forward to seeing you at The Communication Crossroads!
