Sarah McLaughlin, PMP, is an award winning, dynamic, senior-level communications officer with sharp analytical and strategic planning skills, who cultivates and nurtures strong business relationships across complex constituencies.

In June 2015, Sarah joined the City of New Orleans Mayor’s Office as the director of communications, where she was responsible for managing and directing internal and external communications strategies aimed to advance the city’s mission and serving as the key spokesperson.  In September 2016, Sarah became the director of special projects and strategic engagement for the Capital Improvement Program, leading the communication strategy for the $2.4 billion program that will restore the City’s damaged infrastructure from Hurricane Katrina.

Prior to joining the City, Sarah was the Senior Vice President for Outreach Process Partners from 2007-2015. She has a BA from the University of Miami, with concentrations in English Literature, Philosophy and Spanish. She is also a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall.
