Using technology communication to facilitate a culture of change

Technology evolution—or shift—is a certainty in business that causes lots of uncertainty in markets and within organizations. Of the top 10 global business risks for 2019, four were technology-related: cybercrime, cyberattacks, data management and technology innovation.

In a recent survey, graduates from the top 30 business schools globally ranked the rapid rate of technological and digital advancement as the biggest challenge for global business leaders. At the same time, the vast majority believe this technological advancement will have a positive impact. Change is life in IT but that does not mean it is easy and it is still often disruptive. Long-tenure employees are typically resistant to change. In your organization, does technology change happen in a vacuum, or is it celebrated as integral to the organization’s evolving culture? How do you bring your organization along on the journey of technology shifts and advancement? How can technology and technology-related communications influence critical culture change within your team and across your company? Technology underpins every aspect of a business, and bringing it to your culture conversations can have a multiplier effect.

In this session, you will:

  • Gain perspective on how technology communications can impact your culture.
  • Learn how RRD accelerated our technology culture shift with a Digital Revolution.
