How to register
You may register online or by mailing or faxing the registration form printed out of the on-line brochure. Payment must be received with your registration.

Registration deadlines:
Early registration: Saturday, 4 February – Saturday, 26 May, 12 a.m.
Standard registration: Saturday, 26 May – Saturday, 16 June, 12 a.m.
Starting 16 June, only on-site registration will be available.
On-site registration
The last day to pre-register for the conference is Friday, 15 June. After this date, registrations will only be accepted on-site, and you will be charged the US$50 on-site processing fee.

Monday, 25 June, 7 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Badges
Your IABC conference badge must be worn for admittance to all keynotes, sessions and non-ticketed events. Lost badges will not be replaced.
You may collect your badge and registration materials at the Promenade on the fourth floor in the Sheraton Towers. Materials may not be picked up for another person.
Registration instructions
To register
Type or print all information. Complete each line, circle the appropriate registration category and, if applicable, extra-fee events. Indicate the total cost of your selections at the bottom of the form.
IABC membership is on an individual basis. If you personally are not a member, please pay the appropriate non-member fee.
A valid form of payment must accompany your registration. All credit card charges will be processed in U.S. dollars, and your financial institution will convert at the prevailing exchange rate. Checks will be accepted in U.S. and Canadian dollars. IABC cannot invoice you. Print and sign your name to complete your registration.
If you are faxing your registration form, fax both sides, and do not mail a duplicate copy.
Sessions and special events sign-up
Check all events you plan to attend. Indicate the session number in each time period. IABC does not keep a record of your selections, and checking a box does not guarantee a place for you. This information is only used to help IABC plan seating and food and beverage. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. You can change your selections on-site.

Conference, Lunch & Gold Quill Awards package
This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions, the Welcome Reception, the Exhibit Hall lunch, the IABC Research Foundation Luncheon & Seminar, the Networking Reception and the Gold Quill Awards® Gala dinner (tickets must be purchased for the Pre-Conference Workshop).
Conference & Lunch package
This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions, the Welcome Reception, the Networking Reception, the Exhibit Hall lunch, and the IABC Research Foundation Luncheon & Seminar. (tickets must be purchased for the pre-conference workshop and the Gold Quill Awards® Gala dinner).
Regular Conference registration
This registration includes all conference breakout and general sessions, the Welcome Reception and the Networking Reception. Tickets must be purchased for all other events.
Join IABC & Go
Save time by taking advantage of our Join & Go option. This rate for prospective members includes membership dues for one year at the chapter, district/region and international levels, as well as conference registration. In order to “Join IABC & Go,” simply choose the Join & Go option when you register for one of the above registration packages. This option is not available for continuing or lapsed members.
Daily rates
Daily rates include all programs and events scheduled for that particular day, with the exception of the Sunday pre-conference workshop. Daily rates are nonrefundable.
Educators
Only full-time educators that are IABC Members are eligible for the educator registration fee. This registration includes one Welcome Reception ticket, the Exhibit Hall lunch, the Networking Reception and all general sessions and seminars, with the exception of extra-fee events. 500 Club Members
500 Club Members need to call the registrar at 415.544.4724 to receive your 5% World Conference discount. Discounts cannot be combined.

All tickets are nonrefundable, nontransferable, subject to availability, and may be purchased in advance or on-site.

Team discounts
When three or more people from the same organization register for the conference at the same time, each person may take a US$100 discount off the Conference, Lunch & Gold Quill Package; Conference & Lunch Package; or Regular Conference registration fee. All registration forms must be received together and have “team” written on each form. Discounts cannot be combined.
To apply the team discount when registering online, enter the code “TEAM12” and click the “Apply Code” button before entering payment information. This discount cannot be combined with other discounts and does not apply to daily rates, extra-fee events or any portion of the fees applied to membership or dues.
Registration confirmation
If you register online, you will receive an immediate confirmation by e-mail. If you mail or fax your registration, you will receive confirmation by e-mail within two weeks of receipt. You must provide an e-mail address to register and receive a confirmation.
Conference directory
To be listed in the conference directory, you must register by 26 May.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations and/or substitution requests must be made in writing to IABC by email to conference@iabc.com. An 80 percent refund of your paid registration (excluding US$300 membership dues for Join & Go registrants) will be granted for cancellations received before 12 a.m. Saturday 16 June. Refunds will not be granted after Friday 15 June. No exceptions will be made.
An IABC credit equivalent to 80 percent of your paid registration (excluding membership dues) will be issued for cancellations received on or between Saturday 16 June and 12 a.m. Saturday 23 June. This credit is not a refund, but can be applied only toward IABC events within one year of the credit issue date. No refunds or credits will be granted for cancellations received after Friday 22 June, or for no-shows.
Credit card payments must be refunded to the card originally used to pay the registration fee. All refunds will be made after the conclusion of the event.
In the event that the conference is postponed due to natural disaster or other cause beyond IABC’s control, we will make every effort to reschedule. Any registration payments made will automatically be applied to the rescheduled event. If you choose not to attend the rescheduled conference, IABC will provide a full refund upon written request from the registrant.
Substitutions
Substitutions may be made at any time, with written confirmation from the person registered. Non-member substitutes must pay the balance of a non-member registration if replacing a member.
If you are unable to attend the conference after registering, you may send someone in your place. Please follow these steps:
1) You must submit the person’s name and contact information in writing to IABC prior to Friday, 15 June. Fax and e-mail requests will be honored.
2) If you are an IABC member and your replacement is a non-member, s/he must pay any outstanding balance as a result of the difference in corresponding fees.
