Chantelle Cabral, SCMP, is an award winning communications leader who has spent more than 20 years building communications practices that connect people, business, and purpose across some of the world's most complex organizations.
She began her career as an entrepreneur, founding a global communications firm with operations in Mumbai. That experience gave her an early and lasting understanding of how culture, context, and trust shape the way communications land. Returning to Canada, she took on senior roles at some of Canada’s largest financial institutions before joining Canada Life, where she serves today as Director of Corporate Communications.
Across every organization, her approach has remained consistent: get close to the business, understand what stakeholders genuinely need, and build communications that drive measurable outcomes. She has advised executives through high-stakes decisions, led multi-market campaigns, and earned a reputation for bringing both strategic clarity and human insight to complex challenges.
Chantelle is the 2024 IABC Chapter Leader of the Year and currently serves as Chair of the IABC Canada East Region. She is deeply committed to elevating the standards and practice of the field.
