Dine-Arounds

Reserve a limited spot at one of these restaurants, booked by IABC Toronto exclusively for World Conference 2023 attendees! Book now before seats fill up at these exclusive Dine-Arounds. Separate tickets are required.  

Dine-arounds take place on Tuesday, June 6. Be sure to meet in the lobby of Sheraton Center Toronto Hotel at 6:45 pm for your dine-around. An IABC Toronto representative will be holding up a sign with the name of the restaurant.

Explore the core of downtown Toronto and learn some fun facts, from history to inventions, and places unique to Toronto. Join us to deepen your understanding of this dynamic and diverse city!

Michael Binetti is a Toronto-based urban planner with a passion for Toronto's history. Michael loves to travel and believes that travel is the best education and enjoys sharing his love of Toronto with others. Explore this route with Michael.

Run Around at World Conference  - John Cappelletti

Monday, June 5 | 7:00 am - 8:00 am

Join us for a morning run and see some of the city’s iconic landmarks, such as Queen’s Park, the campus of University of Toronto, and the interesting architecture of the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). All abilities welcome. No runner will be left behind.

The run will be guided by John Cappelletti, ABC and Board member of IABC/Toronto. John is a nine-time Ironman finisher and has run more than 60 marathons. 

Meet at 7:00 a.m. in the hotel lobby. Run will last about 30 to 40 minutes.

Yoga in the Park - Chantelle Cabral

Tuesday, June 6 | 7:00 am - 8:15 am

Join us for a peaceful and energizing yoga session by the picturesque Harbour front! 

The session will be a blend of gentle yoga poses and relaxation techniques amidst the serene surroundings of the waterfront. You'll have the opportunity to breathe in the fresh air, take in the beautiful views, and stretch your muscles as you flow through a series of postures.

If you have a yoga mat, please bring it along. If not, the beautiful green grass will serve as a wonderful carpet beneath your feet.

This session will be guided by Chantelle Cabral, SCMP and the exec-vp of IABC/TO. Chantelle is an experienced yoga teacher practicing all forms of traditional yoga.

Meet at 7:00 a.m. in the hotel lobby. The session will last approximately 40 minutes.

Photography Tour - Elvin Jacob

Wednesday, June 7 | 7:00-8:00 pm

Join us for a fun and informative experience as we explore the city's best photo-worthy spots. The tour offers tips and techniques for capturing stunning images of Toronto's architecture, landscapes, and street scenes. Explore the colorful street art in Kensington Market, as you walk through some of the most picturesque locations in the city. Join us for an unforgettable experience and take home stunning photos of this beautiful city!

The tour will be led by professional photographer and IABC/TO member Elvin Jacob.
