Jide is the Founder and CEO of Africa’s first digital comic book company, and animation studio, CR Motion+. He built the continent’s largest comic publisher, renowned for offering weekly comics that have attracted millions of readers worldwide. Under his leadership, Comic Republic became the first African comic brand to secure investor funding, license its heroes for over forty million school notebooks, launch the world’s first crypto comic, and sign a $4 million licensing deal with Universal Studios Group for 15 characters for live-action, TV and film. He is a TEDx speaker, UNICEF changemaker, MIPAD100 honoree, and Africa Education Medal finalist.
